C.J. Maines, a Philipsburg-Osceola student in the Collision Repair program at CCCTC, is disassembling parts from a door frame and getting a closer look at how the components of a vehicle fit and work together.
Knowing how to carefully remove parts is an important part of collision repair. Before a damaged vehicle can be repaired, technicians need to understand what needs to come apart, what can be repaired, and what needs to be replaced. C.J. is learning to work through that process one component at a time, while becoming more familiar with the tools, parts, and procedures used in the shop.
