Clearfield Area High School junior Leium Mayhew is gaining hands-on experience in the Masonry Construction program at CCCTC. Leium is working on his first wall, learning how to properly lay block to the line and keep each course straight and level.

Masonry students build important skills through hands-on projects while learning about bricklaying, block work, mortar, concrete and other construction techniques. Experiences like this help students develop the precision, patience and confidence needed to succeed in the skilled trades.
