Braden Minerich, a Philipsburg student in the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration program at CCCTC, is getting hands on experience as he works on brazing in class. Brazing is an important skill in the HVACR industry and is used to join copper tubing and other components in refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

Through hands on projects and practical training, students learn how to safely use tools and equipment, make quality connections and develop the skills needed to work in the HVACR field. Experiences like this give students the opportunity to build confidence while preparing for careers in a growing skilled trade.
