Stephen Manno, a student from Clearfield Alliance Christian School enrolled in the CCCTC Automotive Mechanics program, has been named the Outstanding Student in Mr. Dan Kerlin’s Automotive Mechanics program. The award was presented during a Geared-UP Tech event sponsored by Hunter’s Garage, which brings together students and local industry professionals to celebrate excellence in technical education.
As part of this recognition, Stephen received a brand-new toolbox filled with professional tools, generously donated by several supportive local businesses.
Representatives from Hunter’s Garage presented the award with contributions from O’Reilly Auto Parts, Clearfield NAPA, Bud's Electric, and AutoZone. This annual recognition highlights the strong partnership between CCCTC and the local business community in preparing students for successful careers in the skilled trades.
CCCTC values its partnerships with employers and community organizations, which play a vital role in ensuring students are learning the most current industry skills. These partners actively collaborate with the school by providing input on curriculum development and program improvements, helping align classroom instruction with real-world workforce needs and employer expectations.
Congratulations to Stephen on this outstanding achievement and recognition of his hard work, dedication, and commitment to the automotive industry.
