Students from Mrs. Gunter’s Health Occupations program and Chef Coulter’s Culinary Arts class at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center recently teamed up to prepare and serve a special picnic buffet for the residents and staff of Colonial Courtyard of Clearfield.
This collaborative service project was a way to say thank you to the residents and dedicated staff who have so warmly welcomed our students throughout their clinical experiences this year.
From preparing fresh salads, desserts, and classic picnic favorites to personally serving each resident, students showcased not only their technical skills, but also the compassion, professionalism, and teamwork that define outstanding healthcare and hospitality professionals.
Experiences like this remind our students that caring for others extends far beyond textbooks and classrooms. It is about building meaningful connections and making a positive impact in the community.
