Students in the HVACR program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) had the opportunity to learn from industry professional Curt Martin, Sales Engineer with Beckett Corporation, during his oil burner training presentation held today.
Curt spoke with students about oil burner training, sharing his expertise on system components, proper setup, troubleshooting techniques, and the importance of efficiency and safety in today’s heating systems. He also discussed real-world applications and current industry standards, giving students a valuable look at what they can expect in the field.
Throughout the session, students were engaged and had the opportunity to ask questions, gaining insight into career pathways within the HVACR industry and the skills employers are looking for. Experiences like this help bridge the gap between classroom learning and hands-on application, preparing CCCTC students for success in high-demand technical careers.
