CCCTC Electrical Occupations students recently visited the IBEW Local 5 Training Center for a hands-on look into careers in the electrical industry.
Business Agent Jim Crispell spoke with students about the apprenticeship application process and the opportunities available through the union. Students toured the training facility and heard directly from two current apprentices about balancing work and school while building a career in the trades.
The visit gave students valuable insight into the next steps after graduation and the many career pathways available in the electrical field.
