During his time at the school he has been a Skills USA advisor, mentor for new teachers and early in his career he took students to Minnesota to participate in a chopper challenge. Dan has been instrumental in organizing the Geared-Up Tech Invent sponsored by Hunter's Garage and the Antique Automobile Club of America’s toolbox giveaway. Both of these programs provide graduating seniors that are chosen by their instructor to receive new tool
kits to begin their careers. Dan was chosen for this recognition because of his tireless approach to education. He focuses on training students with the technical and soft skills needed to be successful in their career. “Dan focuses on the whole student.
