The Automotive Mechanics program at CCCTC recently received a generous donation of several engines, transmissions, and engine stands to support hands-on student learning. These materials will allow students to build and strengthen real-world automotive skills by working directly with the same types of equipment they will encounter in the field.
Operational Advisory Committee (OAC) members Austin Fetters of Dotts Motors and Joshua Bloom of Pellas Towing took the lead in coordinating the donations. The program received equipment from Dotts Ford Motors, Pellas Towing, Bloom Family Racing, Triple 777 Racing, Turner’s Garage, Wilbur’s Auto Sales, and Brooks Kauffman. Once all donations were ready, OAC members picked up and delivered the items to CCCTC.
Donations like these are invaluable to the program, as they provide students with hands-on experience using real-world equipment while strengthening the connection between CCCTC and local industry partners.
