Students in the Welding and Metal Fabrication program at CCCTC are putting their hands-on skills to work by transforming a fellow student’s truck into a low ride. Cooper Malloy, a student in the program, brought in his own truck for the project. Parker Smith (L), from Philipsburg-Osceola, and Cooper Malloy (R), from Clearfield, are using their welding and fabrication skills to modify and customize the truck as part of their training. Projects like this highlight the real-world, hands-on learning taking place at CCCTC as we celebrate Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, showcasing how students gain valuable skills that prepare them for careers in the trades.
