Students in the HVACR program at Clearfield County Career & Technology Center have successfully earned their EPA Section 608 Universal Certification through Mainstream Engineering Corporation, an important industry credential required for working with refrigerants and servicing HVAC systems.
This nationally recognized certification demonstrates the students’ knowledge of environmental regulations, safety procedures, and technical skills necessary for employment in the HVACR field. Achieving Universal certification means these students are qualified to work on Type I, II, and III refrigeration systems, giving them a strong advantage as they enter the workforce.
