Students in the Welding and Metal Fabrication program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center are collaborating with Diesel Equipment Maintenance and Repair students to enhance their hands-on skills. Diesel students are gaining experience with welding techniques commonly used in their trade, including repairing frames, exhaust systems, and heavy equipment parts. At the same time, Welding students are applying their skills to real diesel projects, building practical experience. Working together allows both groups to see how their trades connect in the workforce.

In the photo, Joe Bietz from the Diesel program is working with Gavin Norris from the Welding program as they practice TIG welding techniques.
