The Digital Media Arts program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) is proud to spotlight the creativity and technical skill of its students—most recently showcased in an impressive original film trailer.

Seth Lukens, from West Branch Area High School, wrote, produced, and shot a dramatic trailer for a fictitious film titled The Chess Diaries. The project was developed as part of a class assignment that challenged students to conceptualize an original movie, develop a storyline, and bring it to life through cinematic visuals.

The Chess Diaries dives into themes of strategy, suspense, and personal growth, combining thoughtful storytelling with visually compelling scenes. Seth took the lead on the project, managing everything from script development and casting to filming and post-production editing. His work not only demonstrated his technical abilities in digital media but also highlighted his storytelling talent and creative vision.

Stay tuned as more student projects come to life at CCCTC—where creativity meets career preparation.
